It was such a great day today. The students were great, as usual and I just have so much fun with them throughout the day. I love that I am able to get to know every student 7th-12th grade and that I enjoy working with all of my co-teachers! Not much new has gone on lately. We've been trying to figure out a way to get some meat/chilled items shipped up to us without it being too expensive but I think I'm just going to have to give in and spend a few hundred dollars on shipping to get items shipped in via air freight. Oh well.
I got my lifeproof case for my iPhone today! Woo hoo! USPS has been saying that it was delivered to Kipnuk on the 11th... its now the 22nd and it finally showed up. At least I got it. My phone is now protected from all of the elements. I can even take pictures underwater with it (I tested it out :-) Hehehe!) And most importantly... it is safe from the snow and mud!
I also received my first Full Circle shipment! Fresh fruits and veggies shipped right to my door. It was like Christmas. I can't believe I was so excited for lettuce and corn. I also got some plumcots, peaches, and mushrooms. It will definitely be the highlight of my day every other week.
I got in another box yesterday, the day after I finished cleaning my room. Go figure. Mike, Emily, and I took the 4 wheeler to the post. We got pretty muddy on the back of it but there really wasn't any way to go around the mud... it's everywhere.
I can't wait to see what is in store for tomorrow. Who knows what will happen!
