We had a school inservice which made it an extremely long day!
However, the weather was still beautiful when we got out of school and I
was able to go berry picking again. I didn't pick as many as last time
because I think either the birds had gotten to them or the tundra
around the city had pretty much been picked over. But it was still good
to get out and stretch my legs after being inside all day. As soon as
we got back it started to rain and it has been raining ever since. A
few of us made pierogis for dinner and played games. They were
delicious as usual! I'm going to go to sleep to the sound of the rain against the roof :-)
