Ball

Last weekend my girl's basketball team competed in the League tournament in Kong.  While I was not able to attend because I was taking a class in Bethel, several of the community members were giving me text updates throughout the games :-)  We played Kwig first and won against them 68-48!  We played in the Championship game Saturday morning against Tunt and lost by 5.  I heard it was an exciting game though.  We placed 2nd in the league so we are going to Bethel next week to play in the district tournament!  So exciting!  I was told that the girl's team hasn't made it to the district tournament in 11 years.

As if everything hasn't worked out for the best, the 7th and 8th grade classes moved out of the gym yesterday in time that my girls could have practice in the gym!  How exciting!  They haven't seen our full court gym since last school year.  They had a great time being the first to use the full-court but realized that full-court meant more room to run!  Muahahahaha!  They got a good workout.  We will be leaving next Wednesday so if you remember, pass some good thoughts this way next Thursday and Friday :-)
