Quick Update

HIIIII!!!

So I have been getting into a routine and it really feels like home here :-)  I spend a lot of time with Baby Girl and Dolly at their house.  They have somewhat adopted me.  I am at their house almost every night and spend a lot of time with Deann and Sister (Baby Girl's Sister) and her daughters.  It is wonderful to have a family here.

I have been very busy.  I went to Bethel last weekend to visit friends and go to the Saturday Market.  Many of the locals in Bethel sell their home made merchandise there.  I found lots of goodies there :-)  I also tried to take my test to get my drivers license but missed it by one question :-(  I try again on my way back to Chicago on the 19th!  Yes... I said it... on my way back to Chicago!  I'm going back to Illinois for Christmas.  I was going to surprise everyone but ended up slowly telling people one by one.  I'm terrible at keeping surprises!  LOL

I am headed back to Bethel on Thursday with my Robotics team!  Competition is coming up and we have been practicing every day in preparation!  So exciting!  I am very glad that I was able to chaperone NYO the other weekend with Paul so I know what to expect when chaperoning.  I can't wait for my students to compete!  They have shown such dedication and have been working so hard.  They really deserve the trip.  They are just excited to be traveling and are hoping that we will have time to go to the store while in Bethel!  LOL!

Here are some pictures from the last week.  I hope everyone enjoys!  The Holiday spirit is all throughout Kipnuk.  Some have lights up and others say Merry Christmas when greeting me.  I even bought some Christmas earring.  LOL!  Of course!

Baby Girl taught me how to crochet!

I made her a hat!

Our incredibly addicting creation... bite-sized apple pies!

Yep Ang... a little bit of a mark up!  LOL  and this is in Bethel.  I can't imagine how much they would be if we sold them here.

My favorite picture of Deann!  Pouting LOL

Me and Baby Girl on a walk.  Me in the hat she made me and she in the hat I made her :-)

My attempt at a snow angel.  The snow was so hard I only made angel feet.

Baby Girl on the ice.  It was eerie to walk on the ice.
